September is here! 🍁

I’m so excited for another month filled with art, events, and new projects. Save this calendar so you know where to find Gaze and Graphite throughout September!

I also wanted to share a little behind-the-scenes update. I’m scheduled to have back surgery during the last week of September. I tend to be fairly private about personal matters, but as I continue growing Gaze and Graphite, I’m trying to share more of the real life behind the artwork.

My response times may be a little slower during the week of my surgery, and the recovery will likely affect my October schedule. I may not physically be able to attend as many events myself, but I’m incredibly fortunate and thankful to have an amazing family who will be helping me keep things moving whenever possible.

I’m hopeful that some of the quieter recovery time may allow me to create when I’m feeling up to it, but I’ll be taking things one day at a time and giving myself the time I need to heal.

Thank you so much for your patience, understanding, and continued support. It truly means more than you know! 💛

August is here! ☀️

This month is going to be a full one, and I am feeling incredibly grateful for every opportunity to bring my work into new spaces and connect with so many people in person.

I will be traveling around Pittsburgh and the surrounding areas throughout August, starting today with Pittsburgh VEG Fest (Pittsburgh VegFest ) and the Lawrenceville Art Crawl (Studio • Gallery • Events). At the Art Crawl, you can find me set up in front of H&R Block!

Swipe through to see where Gaze & Graphite will be this month. I hope our paths cross at one of these events. 💗

A little glimpse into what’s coming for the 24 Minis Show at Manos Gallery this September.

Small pieces, quiet skies, passing time, and moments held in glass.

More soon. ☁️🍷☁️

Somehow it’s already July!

Here’s a peek at where I’ll be this month. I’ll be spending my weekends at a few markets and community events around Pittsburgh, with one trip to Morgantown mixed in!

If you’re out and about at any of these events, I’d love for you to stop by and say hello.

Thank you for continuing to support my work, whether you’ve collected a piece, shared a post, or simply followed along. It truly means more than you know.

Here’s to another month of creating. 🤍

June is here, and I have so much exciting news to share!

This month will be one of the busiest and most exciting yet for Gaze and Graphite, with multiple events across the Pittsburgh area and a brand-new retail home at the I Made It! Market store in Robinson Mall.

Thank you, as always, for supporting art that sees beyond. 💕

I’m thrilled and deeply honored to share that I’ve been selected as an Emerging Artist for the 2026 Dollar Bank Three Rivers Arts Festival 🤍

This feels like such a full-circle moment for me. I grew up attending this festival as a little girl, walking through the booths and admiring the incredible artists. To now be part of it as an exhibiting artist feels surreal.

You can find me at Booth F-24
📍 Thursday, June 11 through Sunday, June 14
🕛 12 PM to 8 PM each day

There will be plenty of time to stop by and explore my work alongside hundreds of incredibly talented artists, plus live music, food, and all the energy that makes this festival such a special part of Pittsburgh.

It feels especially meaningful to be part of the festival as it begins a new chapter at Arts Landing. Being part of that fresh start as an Emerging Artist makes this moment even more special.

I’m so excited to share my work with you and be part of something so iconic to this city. I’d love to see you there! 🤍

I completed this piece back in January and have been holding onto it ever since.

It’s based on a baby photo of me.
The words are mine now.

Entering the art world has been one of the most beautiful and brutal experiences of my life.

There is so much pressure to be original, to be perfect, to be marketable, to be worthy. And now, even when you create by hand, there is sometimes this strange pressure to prove your humanity behind the work.

Maybe that’s part of why I held onto this one.

The youngest version of me asking the questions I still carry:

Who do you want me to be?
Is being me not enough?
Who really chooses?

I want art to be expression before performance.
I want it to be human.
