We are a community theatre group located in the Pittsburgh's North Side neighborhood of Brighton Hei WHO ARE WE? Maybe you like to sing. Maybe you like to dance.

The North Side Gallery Players are a community theatre group located in the City’s North Side neighborhood of Brighton Heights. The NSGP welcomes anyone in the neighborhood and surrounding communities who wish to participate. Maybe you prefer staying behind the scenes and lending a hand with stage crew. Regardless of you desires and talents, anyone who has interest in participating is encouraged t

o do so. We accept both teens and adults, and sometimes younger children depending on the project. Our performances vary and consist of cabarets, dramas, and full musicals, to sing-alongs, murder mystery dinners, and one man shows. The North Side Gallery Players operate through volunteers. From lighting to sound, and concessions to costumes, everyone involved does so to support a loved one or because they have genuine interest in the craft at hand. Membership is free, as we rely solely on ticket sales to produce the next show. If you are interested in participating in an upcoming event, simply contact The Gallery Players at 724-462-4548/[email protected] to get your name on the production list. When a show is in the works, you will be notified and can then make the decision to register. Sometimes auditions are required for proper placement.

With the recent pandemic, our cast and crew have decided it is best to postpone the neighborhood musical. Our group of 24 (can you believe it!) have all been working very hard and are excited to perform for you! But before we do so, we want to ensure your safety. We love our neighbors, and want you to feel comfortable and secure in your surroundings. We will let you know the new dates very soon and hope you will join us as you always have! We can't wait to sing along and share in some family friendly artistic fun! ❤

SAVE THE DATE and enjoy a fun neighborhood performance in Brighton Heights.

It's our 7th Annual Neighborhood Production and it's THE LITTLE MERMAID!

SHOW DATES AND TIMES:

Friday, March 27th: 7:30PM start, doors open 7PM

Saturday, March 28th: 6:30PM start, doors open 6PM

Sunday, March 29th: 3:30PM start, doors open 3PM

Tickets are a flat rate of $12.00
Children age 2 and under are free as long as they sit on someone's lap.

Seats are assigned and reserved on a first come first serve basis.

The show is performed in the round (sort of) for some fun audience interaction!

This is what neighborhood fun, friendship, all things kids and the performing arts looks like. Today was a pretty sweet little magical afternoon where so many gathered together to see a bunch of incredibly talented kids bring a storybook to life. They practiced hard, brought their own ideas to the table, created their own set and worked the lights. The smallest of performers had a large crowd cheering them on in what might seem like a tiny role, but to the wee ones, a huge accomplishment. 10 years ago this tradition started. Never would I have thought that we would still be here. That's the thing about the arts... it never gets old. It's always fun. It's always magical. It's always a freeing moment when you can get away from reality for a bit and play pretend. For some, that pretend does become a reality, a dream come true. Like so many that came before them, some of these kids too will go on to continue theatre in some way, and I will always be there cheering them on. Happy 10 years to the ! Congratulations to the cast of BLOOM! Cheers to the next 10! ❤🎭

Calling all individuals who have no desire to be on stage in front of others, but instead wish to showcase their talents behind the scenes with all things scenery, props, and more! In a few weeks we are going to get together to discuss what we need for this year's neighborhood production! I would venture to say Cinderella is going to need some bibbidy-bobbidy-boo magic to help everything really come alive! If you are an adult or teenager that can lend some time to build or paint, please contact us on social media or via email at [email protected]. If you have zero experience in this sort of thing but a desire to get creative and help out, you are very much so invited! We have a wonderfully talented and enthusiastic set director this year ready to lead the way and make it happen! Care to join us!?! I hope so!
