For the last 3 years instead of keeping a journal, I paint my favorite memories. This is from earlier this year but I’m missing my mountain views and Vermont friends today. A daily activity during downtime at work to challenge ourselves would be to do sudokus daily. I still try to do them on my shift but it’s not as fun without my Rutland buddies to help out 😊

This was a birthday card I made for my Vermont roommate (and friend)to celebrate her 30th birthday. Based on an accurate depiction of us doing every single thing together on a random winter weekend, I told her I felt like I was in a movie montage. The night had ended with us dressed in our pjs and wet hair with just a jacket on, to take the trash to the curb. We were giggling like goobers at how ridiculous we most likely looked, I couldn’t help paint it as one of my favorite memories.
