The Alpen Schuhplattlers are getting ready for our fall performance season. Upcoming public performances include:
McKeesport International Village, August 20 @ Renzie Park, McKeesport. Performance at 8pm. McKeesport’s annual folk festival features food, music, and dancing from the immigrant nationalities that make the Pittsburgh area great! https://internationalvillage.info/
Teutonia Public Oktoberfest, September 4 @ Teutonia Männerchor. The Schuhplattlers will dance on Friday evening, time TBA (usually during the band break). Join us in the fest tent!
Erie German Heritage Festival, September 5-6 @ St. Nick’s Grove, 5131 Old French Road, Erie PA. The Erie German Heritage Festival features German music, German food, German vendors, German beer, and best of all, the Schuhplattlers! Booktoberfest, September 25 @ Penn Hills Library. We’re dancing at the Penn Hills Library’s annual benefit. Performance time 7 pm.
Scott Township Oktoberfest, October 3 @ Scott Township Park. Performance starts at 1 pm.
Columbus Day Parade, October 10 @ Liberty Avenue, Bloomfield. Parade starts at 11 am.
