Hear the amazing "Five Folksongs in Counterpoint" by Florence Price! September 19. Free concert!

This program features a lecture recital on Florence Price’s “Five Folksongs in Counterpoint” by the Huldra Quartet. This warm yet intricate piece blends American folk songs and Black spirituals with complex counterpoint.

PMEA has submitted comments opposing the proposal—and we encourage music educators, families, and advocates to make their voices heard before the August 27 deadline.
