We're looking 'on the bright side of life' and not just because it's sunny outside today. Cate and Elise were both cast in extremely fun rolls in their schools production of Spamalot: Young at Part. I just hope they don't get into trouble with that killer bunny...

Here's a cool first at East End Performing Arts: we will have two students portraying the same role in two different productions of the same show within weeks of each other!

Leela will also portray speller Leif Coneybear and her schools December production of 'Spelling Bee.'

Get your capes ready and start studying your dictionary!

Never ever stop learning. Today's class with Body Based Voice with Jeremy Ryan Mossman inspired me to get my 3D anatomy app back out. We were talking about the rib cage, or the rib basket as he calls it, and that because of the old adage 'breathe from your belly' or 'breathe from your diaphragm,' we are neglecting a large portion of our body when we discuss and explore breathing.

One of our youngest students, Henry, got very exciting news this week, and we couldn't be happier for him! He'll be a soloist gull in Little Mermaid Jr and made honors band on trumpet.
Any guess as to what Scuttle would call a trumpet?

🎵 At the 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee my parents keep on telling me just being here is winning... 🎵

Our EEPA spellers cast in the show are:
Anastasia as Leaf’s Sister and Jesus
Clover as Leaf Coneybear
Marion as Olive Ostrovsky

Congrats to all! Now, crack open those dictionaries (and music scores!)

Current students need to submit their registration/schedule survey by Monday/Labor Day. It's a long weekend, you have an extra minute or two to fill this out!

Back to lessons today, online and it person, and Dash is very happy to see so many people.

Or maybe he just wants to eat my ear buds.
