YES! I will be drawing caricatures this Easter week at the Mall at Robinson!! Upstairs by the Food Court!! They take just a few minutes and I can draw from a sitting or cell phone photo...or any photo!! Have friends, family, nieghbors, yourself, drawn...anyone with a face! (YES, I draw pets-- from photos only). April 2 thru April 4. Thursday Noon to 6:30. Friday and Saturday from Noon to 7pm. Hope to see you there...please Share! Happy Easter!

I WILL BE DRAWING FREE CARICATURES, with another artist, on New Year's Eve, from 7pm to 10pm, during the First Night celebration in Downtown, Pittsburgh! We will be in the street level lobby of the Space Gallery, 812 Liberty Avenue. I had a blast running in the Brookline Breeze 5K yesterday in my old neighborhood....! I surprised myself as it was a bit cooler than it had been in the past, when it was hot. Felt like I had another mile or two in me. Thanks for all the support, fun, laughs and excitement...! The pizza was great afterwards...I couldn't hang out as much after and hit Brookline Boulevard for the car show, but zipped over to Mark Zucco's house, then went home and showered and went to a caricature gig I had in the afternoon. Then over to the St. Pius church carnival on Pioneer Ave to hear Anthony Guarino Group Productions spin records and here one of Mark Zucco's bands, The Wurms do their thing. Tonight, Wednesday August 7 and tomorrow, Thursday August 8, I will be drawing caricatures at the Saint Pius Church carnival, at 3040 Pioneer Avenue in Brookline, from 6:30-8:30pm each night! "Early Morning Tee," oil painting by Vince Ornato. I was golfing when a friend was across the fairway over his shot, and a storm was building. I noticed he was in silhouette against the darkening sky. I observed what a solid painting this would be. The idea lingered and six months later I did this painting. The setting is loosely inspired by the opening hole at Seven Springs, where I played many times. In the early morning, there is often fog lifting off the course, and you can not see the fairway, but you know the direction of the shot. I have sold the original, but fine art prints are available. SORRY TO SAY THAT THE CITY OF PITTSBURGH ROVING ART CART AT MOORE PARK TODAY IS CANCELLED. I JUST FOYND OUT. THERE WERE PROBLEMS WITH THE KEY VAN INVOLVED IN THE SHOW. MY APOLOGIES. THIS TATELY HAPPENS.
