A week ago Men Without Hearts indulged in a euphoric and epic experience of invoking every emotion plausible that can only be relived in the minds eye and pondered on in the soliloquy of the quizzical heart. I’m humbled in every facet of the word. I want to thank everyone that came out to share those intense and breathtaking moments with me and I with you. I can’t wait for what the rest of the year has for Men Without Hearts and look forward to seeing you soon. My love for the immeasurable support I receive does not go unnoticed and my need to make a home out of your heart with my writing eggs me on and for that I’m forever grateful. Arriverdicci ❤️🥂

The innate inclination of humans that transcends from the need to belong is a gift bestowed unto the grateful heart and should be acknowledged. A community that has a mission to inspire through an authentic and a reputable medium using poetry as its platform but an intrinsic sense of connectivity and belongingness has me awed. is a statement. It’s a driving force for helping novice poets and writers like myself. Sometimes I lose faith in petitioning God for anything out of the fear that I’m not the only one in need and my needs are not unique. but between the hope that crystallizes into a dream worthwhile, I still throw caution to the wind and ask for despondency to unravel your flickering heart before catastrophe strikes. In between a hallelujah and an amen, all our needs are not met but I can promise you that the love you have to give will be enough to keep you in our minds and our hearts for as long as we have left to pretend that the day that looms closer to the other side scares us to our wits ends. It’s your smile, your laugh, your love we need the most to stay afloat. I will let not the crippling effect of this incredulous world ripple through to my heart and leave me behind. I’ll hold on to everything I have left which includes nothing I have left but you. You’re the defining moment between a renewed hello and a goodbye so until we meet again, promise to never leave again.
