Happy National Coffee Day! My work in Collage continues as I taught two Collage classes at Contemporary Craft (www.contemporarycraft.org) last week here in Pittsburgh, PA. I am interested in the contribution of women in collage art. In October I will be teaching a two session Women in Collage course at Butler County Community College (https://bc3.augusoft.net/index.cfm?method=ClassInfo.ClassInformation&int_class_id=41452&int_category_id=10&int_sub_category_id=4&int_catalog_id=0) There are some seats left. In the class we will not only look at the collage work of women both past and present. We will use their work as a jumping off point to create our own collages. Bring you paper ephemera, glue sticks and scissors. And, if course I will have lots of materials to offer. We’ll look at the craft of collage, composition and techniques.
