Our mission at Beers of the Burgh is to showcase and celebrate the diverse craft-brewing community unique to our city. With over 50 established breweries in the area, and even more in development, we’re committed to providing a resource for people to stay exposed to each and every one of them. Through semi-annual events and weekly blog profiles, Beers of the Burgh will keep the craft beer communit

y connected, from brewers to bar owners to ale enthusiasts of every kind. And because we want to do our part for the city we love, each Beers of the Burgh event will each be held in benefit of a local nonprofit organization. We believe in a strong correlation between the growth of craft beer in Pittsburgh and the growth of Pittsburgh as a whole.

We’re taking over SouthSide Works tomorrow (8/30) from 12 to 6 PM for BaconBurgh. There will be an insane amount of bacon-heavy food options from over a dozen of Pittsburghs best food trucks to choose from!

We’re officially under two weeks out, and we’re getting everything ready for Year Two at South Side Works. If you came out last year, you know the drill—a full day dedicated to the greatest ingredient on earth. If you didn’t, here’s the best part: entry is 100% FREE this year. No tickets, no registration, no hassle.
