Academy of Dance by Lori Welcome to The Academy of Dance by Lori and Kinderplay Academy located in Mt.Lebanon, PA near the Galleria Mall.

A convienent location for families throughout the south hills! The Academy and Kinderplay Academy were developed to bring fun, creative and educational classes to children ages 2 through adult. The Academy was founded in 1985 by Lori Javornick. In 2001 Michelle Dawson joined her as co-director and director of Kinderplay Academy.

That’s a wrap on the 25-26 season! What an incredible year we’ve had. So many great memories made with our dance family 🤍 Our teachers are so proud of your hard work and growth this year. We couldn’t be happier!

•Took a master class with Aryn Bohannon from Six:The Musical
•Saw Six for one of Dylan Mulvaney’s last shows and got to meet them
•Took master classes with Cori Jo Swanson and Steven Blandino at Steps on Broadway
•Went shopping
•Explored the city
•Made the best memories with the best people!

Ms. Mary Pietropaolo has been nominated for CHOREOGRAPHER OF THE YEAR for her lyrical routine, Turn to Stone! This routine has won 1st overall for junior intermediate large group at ALL 5 competitions this year.

What an incredible competition season we’ve had ✨

Our last competition of season was Platinum this weekend. We took home lots of overall awards (many of them being 1st place🏆), judge’s choice awards, 5 choreography awards, a technical excellence award, highest scoring routines in the entire beginner and intermediate levels, and the ADCC Studio of Excellence!

A huge thank to our teachers, dancers, and family for making this season unforgettable. We are so insanely proud of everything we accomplished 🤍
