~AUDITION NOTICE~
Vigilance Theater Group is holding auditions for its 2026 productions from 2-7 p.m. on Sunday, February 1 in Lawrenceville. (Address and directions delivered upon RSVP.) We're currently casting an original, immersive piece directed by Connor McCanlus, set to be performed in June at a Downtown venue. We're also considering auditioners for the third installment of our "Campfire Stories" series in September.
Auditioners should prepare 3 minutes of a monologue and/or a song. A short monologue and short vocal piece is fine, as is one or the other; please feel free to present any style, period or genre that you feel best showcases your talents! Please limit the total audition time to 3 minutes. Be prepared for possible improvisation and movement. If you play any (easily portable) instruments, please bring them to the audition (or inform us in your RSVP).
To RSVP, please email [email protected] with your hours of availability on Feb. 1; reply no later than Tuesday, January 27 to receive a time slot. If you're planning to sing, either include a YouTube link to an instrumental/karaoke version of your song in your email or be prepared to sing a ca****la; no piano will be available.
Video submissions will also be accepted, due no later than Thursday, January 29. Video submissions will not be accepted after the audition date.
Performers will receive a stipend of no less than $200. Vigilance is seeking a diverse group of performers and is committed to inclusive casting; we are looking for performers of all racial/ethnic backgrounds and genders.
