The Pittsburgh Film Office is thrilled to welcome Cara Friez as Create PA Director!

Cara Friez is a media production professional and educator with extensive experience in post-production, curriculum development, and film education.

Her production credits span network television, branded content, and documentary films, including work for CBS's As the World Turns, WPXI-TV, The Andy Warhol Museum, and MSC Cruises.

As a Pittsburgh native, Cara is excited to build pathways into film and media careers for people across western Pennsylvania and the surrounding areas.

“Allegheny General Hospital Emergency Medicine, in collaboration with Pittsburgh River Rescue, will be holding a mock mass casualty drill on September 17, 2026. They are seeking 30 volunteer actors to be simulated patients.

This event will take place from 7 AM to 12 PM. Your participation will allow us to drill as realistic as possible. Moulage artists will be present for makeup and refreshments will be provided.
