DJ KellyA Darkwave DJ hailing from Pittsburgh, PA Hi, I'm DJ KellyA, and I'm a goth DJ. I believe in "mood matching."

I play slinky darkwave, gothic rock, and post-punk, with the occasional dash of synth pop and old-school industrial...and occasionally some electro swing. I'm very lyric-focused and I'm drawn to emotionally resonant music. I'm passionate about discovering and exposing new music, and committed to the responsibility of a DJ to help move a scene forward. From 1997-2002, I was a resident at Ceremony, a weekly goth/industrial night in Pittsburgh. Some of my guest appearances over the years have been at The Batcave in New York City, Dracula's Ball in Philadelphia, Catacomb in D.C., Revelations in Richmond, The Phantasy in Cleveland, The Secret Room in Atlanta, and Sanctuary in Salt Lake City. My most recent residency was at Obsidian at the Lava Lounge in Pittsburgh, PA, from January to December, 2015. Since then, I mainly host my own special events, with occasional guest appearances. I had a great time spinning at the Allentown Night Market last night. This massive event is a DIY effort that started as an anniversary party for The Weeping Glass. Kelly and Chad and their army of employees and volunteers always make sure it's amazing.

I was one of four DJs each stationed in different parts of Pittsburgh's spookiest neighboorhood. We each provided tunes for our area for the entire four hours of the event (7-11pm), so that's 16 hours of music that got spun last night! We got some rain, but it didn't seem to deter the crowds.

I was happy with my new mobile DJ booth and folding padded barstools. Many of the songs I played were 2026 releases, and I set up a monitor to show people what songs I was playing as I played them, just like I do on Twitch.

I was right next to Onion Maiden and their delicious, metal-inspired vegan food. They had a long line for the entire event, so it was fun to see people bopping along to my songs and checking out the titles while they waited.

Here's what I played!
