VoiceChannel is an urban art project aimed at bridging the gap between the youth social justice movement, one that expresses itself mainly on social media, and the world at large. VoiceChannel is a platform for young people making real change towards a more just future, expanding their voices from the online world into the public eye. This is accomplished using our custom software, which can pull tweets submitted using and integrate them into our display, which is then projected onto any space, be it a gallery, streetcorner, school, or elsewhere. VoiceChannel uses the art of urban projection as a tool to elevate the voices of progressive students and young people and bring the issues that they care about into the forefront, so that they can no longer be ignored.
