Spirit is a three-level 15,000 square foot music venue, event space, rooftop garden bar, and restaurant located in the Lawrenceville neighborhood of Pittsburgh PA SPIRIT is a two-level 10,000 square foot multi-purpose event space converted from the former Moose Lodge in Upper Lawrenceville into a pizzeria, bar, and event hall with stages on both levels. Spirit Lodge, located downstairs, is a 200-p

erson bar offering classic cocktails, regional beers, and snacks, plus nightly entertainment and a pizzeria called Slice Island. Upstairs you'll find Spirit Hall, a 450-person ballroom that plays host to a wide variety of special events such as weddings, company parties, and basically anything that requires more than 3,000 square-feet.

Pearl & the Oysters, international adventurers in eclectic pop, crash-landed their starship in Los Angeles in the year 2020. Born and schooled in Paris, the couple launched a nomadic romance fueled by music that would later see them crooning in New York jazz clubs, then wading the swampy waters of American DIY art rock in Gainesville, Florida.

Today in L.A., the band’s evolving sound complements a buoyant moment in a scene where their brand of space age jazz-pop is more than welcome.

We are proud to announce the FIRST ANNUAL PITTSBURGH PIZZA OLYMPICS - a food festival celebrating the craft & creativity of Pittsburgh pizza-making. Part culinary competition, part block party, this fest brings together 11 of Pittsburgh’s best pizzerias– featuring Spirit, Driftwood, Badamo’s, Spak, 77 Club, La Grassa, Gus Franco’s, Slice On Broadway, Piccolo Forno, Rockaway, and Pizza Lupo. 

HOSTED BY DJ DINI DADDY & ZOMBO

Pizza Pass ticketholders will get to sample a slice from each pizzeria and vote towards a People’s Choice Best Pizza. Pizza Olympics will also feature performances by Enjoy Wrestling + F**k Yeah, Dinosaurs!, along with ridiculous skill games to put our pizzerias to the test.
