Continuing with the MLB Player's Weekend, designed to showcase MLB players personalities, interests, and charitable causes around the league, this pair is for Pittsburgh Pirates Shortstop Konnor Griffin.

Although Konnor is currently hurt and won't be able to wear these in game, he still wanted me to create his cleats so that he could still auction them off and raise the money. Konnor chose One Day to Remember, an organization based out of Pittsburgh that provides cost-free, & memory-making experiences for children and their parents who are facing advanced-late stage cancer, helping families take a break from treatment and focus on quality time together. Since he has been in Pittsburgh, Konnor has hosted a number of families to PNC Park to meet him and the team this year, and wanted to use his first ever Player's Weekend pair to go towards raising money and bringing awareness to a hometown organization!

This week is MLB Player's Weekend, which is an annual Major League Baseball initiative designed to showcase the personalities, off-the-field interests, and charitable causes of the players around the league!

Toronto Blue Jays Closer Louie Varland got the save today in a 4-3 win over the Yankees in these custom cleats, representing his passions of fishing and topography. The topography map cleat also have a made up lake named "Wisdom Lake" which is in the shape of a wisdom tooth, as a nod to his wife, who is a dentist!

Another pair of custom cleats for Pittsburgh Pirates Outfielder Jake Mangum! This pair was inspired by the early 2000's Pirates alternate uniforms (my favorite jerseys of all time) that were black with gold lettering and outlined in red.

Pirates Infielder Konnor Griffin bought the 2 pairs for Jake as a surprise gift. I told Konnor to let me know what he thinks of them when I dropped them off. About 20 minutes later I got a text with a photo from Konnor that said "He loves them 😂". Scroll to the last picture to see the picture I received haha

It's almost time for Friday Night Lights!

Only a few more weeks until Friday nights are run by high school football! Customized these cleats for a senior at Mt. Lebanon High School here in Pittsburgh! Customized to color match the team's navy and gold uniforms, but kept clean with the team logo and his jersey number!

Simple black and white cleats for Arizona Cardinals Wide Receiver Michael Wilson! Primed for a big year this year for the Cardinals, we took 3 pairs of bright red cleats and turned them into 3 clean black & white pairs!

The Pittsburgh Steelers report to Training Camp Tuesday, and we are just getting started on the new year! Did a color swap on these 3 pairs for new Pittsburgh Steelers defensive lineman Sebastian Joseph-Day. He signed with the Steelers this offseason coming from the Tennessee Titans. All 3 of these pairs were in varying light blue, navy blue, red and white designs. So I customized and color swapped them from the Titans to the Steelers to match 3 uniform sets for the Steelers, home black, away white and the color rush uniforms.

Most importantly, 7 more Sundays until Week 1!
