Apasionado Dance Welcome to the experience of life through the dimension of dance.

The meaning of dance is not separate from life; many old-growth cultures from around the world that integrate dance into every part of life don't even have a word for dance.

Son Cubano is the most sublime. No performative moves here, nothing but subtlety, sensation, and precision.

These students have been learning from 0 and almost 0 at our events and classes in Squirrel Hill.

If you think you have two left feet, or if you want to learn new skills from knowledgeable, patient, and skilled teachers of culturally rooted dance forms, we have got solutions for you: dance classes for cultural partner dances that can be danced at dance socials and parties

There are many amazing teachers we can recommend including any we ever invite to DJ or teach workshops, and all of the in-house group whose classes are listed on the schedule, as well as the tango group we share the studio with Koichiro Suzuki

Son Cubano class is Weekly on Thursdays

Este estilo de baile está loco!!!

Directly from Cali Colombia, Boogaloo Caleño is an energy level beyond the already high energy of Salsa Caleña. It combines Charleston and Lindy Hop and other African American Vernacular Jazz steps into the distinctive salsa style of Cali to create an explosive energy for the most charged parts of some salsa songs.

This level of energy is not normally danced for more than a small portion of certain song, but certain songs call for it in the music.

Level 1 Salsa Caleña Tuesdays at 6
Level 2 Salsa Caleña Thursdays at 6

These figures are extremely simple and yet are often executed without internal sensitivity, body movement, or cadence on the Salsa social floor.

SON CUBANO class 7pm Tuesdays is a great way to root your movements in rhythm and coordination, to go beyond the turn patterns & explore the rich sensations of dancing inside your body on beat.
