Art in the Park sees over a 1000 people visit our beautiful Dormont Park! We have 40 artisan vendors loading in, several food trucks, a couple bands, a ballet company, and more...if you're thinking "Wow that sounds like a lot," you would be correct!

Did you love seeing the plein air painters out and about on Saturday? Maybe you thought, "hey I am an artist, I would love to share some of my art too!"

Well good news! A major component of our Art in the Park festival is a community art show! We hang up a line between some of our beautiful trees, provide hooks and clothespins, and encourage you to bring some of your art to show to others! This art is not to sell, it's just for all to appreciate. For larger pieces you may have to think creatively - lean against a tree, use rope to lash your piece to a tree- any impermanent method is ok. The park is your canvas!

Artists’ Reception and Sale

Join us on Thursday, July 30 from 6-8 PM at the Municipal Building for a reception to recognize the artists currently exhibiting in the Main Lobby Gallery. Find a piece you love? You’ll also have a chance to buy it!

Check out the art of Joshua Hoffman, Nick Ruble, and Brett Mason. This exhibition was organized by Joshua Hoffman and Erin O’Neill. Erin curated, and Josh selected the other artists with whom he shares the exhibit. We are all excited by the results of great art that engages with nature and the outdoors while art is being created.

Joshua, Brett, and Nick thoughtfully select locations to render their art in all seasons. They are actively employing their unique sense of controlled spontaneity, keen eye, inventive color work, and skilled brushwork for these paintings.
