What a total surprise and joy this was when a painting I posted mentioning also what a fan I was of Catherine Bradford was sent to me by a friend who was in Berlin for Catherine’s opening! I was so encouraged and thought a generous thing for my friend to do by showing her my post as well as Catherine for commenting and posing for a photo! ever try to peel off old wallpaper and see the myriad of layers underneath? Who lived here before me? Why is there newspaper glued to the wall? Who chose that wallpaper for that era? This piece is a throwback to that experience and the experience of unearthing what was underneath. This collage is 30”x30” and sealed for a smooth surface despite the layers underneath.
