We can't believe our Greenstone camp week is already half over! The students have been busy creating characters, writing stories, playing theatre games, and learning about Shakespeare, puppetry, and improv! We can't wait to see what they come up with tomorrow and Friday! Many more pictures to come!

🎭 Summer is in full swing at Saltworks, and we're having a blast!

Our Costume Petting Zoo was such a hit at the Three Rivers Arts Festival that we're bringing it to Beaver County Boom on June 27! Stop by the pre-fireworks festival, try on costumes, snap some photos, and join in the fun before the evening celebration begins.

🌟 New this summer: Saltworks returns to Oakland for a week of summer camp!

From July 13–17, we're partnering with the Campus Laboratory School of Carlow University. Saltworks will lead the morning programming with all the creativity, imagination, and confidence-building fun of our Young Actors Studio. Families can also take advantage of Stay & Play and Extended Day options.

And just like that, the 2025-2026 Saltworks social issues school tour is over. It's been a wonderful year filled with joy, laughter, teamwork, and new friendships and we're so grateful for everyone who made this year possible.

This year, the tour actors performed an incredible 92 shows for 20,933 students in grades PreK-12. They traveled all over Pennsylvania, and even to West Virginia and Ohio! And we're already booking for next year! Schools can check out our website to book for the 2026-2027 season now!

We're so excited to share that we're running not one but TWO amazing summer camp programs this year! Not only are we running our in-house camp from June 22nd-26th, we're also partnering with the Carlow for another fantastic week of acting, improv, games and exercises later in the summer!

Camp is open to students in grades K-5 and will run from 9AM-12PM, July 13th-17th. You do not have to be a Carlow student to attend!

We're so incredibly proud of our Young Actors Ensemble students! On May 14th, they performed Hamlet Jr. to an audience of over 40 people! The students put in so much hard work creating their characters, memorizing their lines and blocking, designing their costumes, and so much more, and we're so impressed with how much they accomplished in only 8 weeks!
