Quarantine have you without a basket? Make one out of cardboard! Kids like cosplay? Make it a hat so they can become their favorite villain while consuming their chocolate bunnies! Kalligan helped color his eggs and I cut them out for his rainbow basket. He wanted that to be a hat too 😂I had a lot of fun throwing these together! I think I’ll do this every year now!

Today I took a break from racing thoughts and regrets of low artistic productivity during isolation and quarantine, to participate in the current trend of inspirational public window art. What can I say when paper art is needed I will answer the call. A little nod to , their New Years gag, and an excellent little song called Rise/Come Together. This wacky, upside down, bonkers world we are all hurling through space on could use a little love and light and maybe a rescue squad 😘! Hope this spreads some cheer to you and passers by!

The Splatter Tree...
You
Taking in the vanilla, the plain, the ordinary.
Growing, expanding, filling with joy, color, vibrancy.
Fruiting forth and sowing seed for more splatter trees...

This goofy little sculpture was made for a friend at the end of last year but life got in the way of sending it. I finally got it to her last week and now will share it, and her, with you. is the most amazing woman. I wish i could describe just how much she has changed my life and really given me a new one. Made me realize my potential. Lifted me. Loved me. Gave me new friends and family. I love her more than I can say. So I made her a tree. It’s all cardboard. The balls are pureed boxes and rolled in paint. The tree is stacked cardboard and then paper mached with packing paper. The tire swing rope is also packing paper while the tire is cardboard. I wanted this to show how this beautiful woman sends color out into the world. I hope it brings a little color into yours as well. 🌱🌈
