It is the last full week of Summer 2026. Fall arrives on the evening of September 22nd, just 8 days away. This week, Mother Nature has the highs going up and down.

I hope everyone who went to the Irish festival were able to be safe and enjoy the music despite the weather.

On Tuesday, September 15, you can do some ceili dancing at Mullaney's Harp and Fiddle Irish Pub in the Strip. If you need lessons, be there at 7PM. Dancing starts at 7:30.

On Wednesday, Mike Flaherty will be at Cork Harbour Pub in Lawrenceville, 6 to 8:30PM.

Mark Guiser will be back at the Harp and Fiddle on Friday, 9PM to Midnight.

The Low Kings have two shows this weekend. On Saturday, you can find them on the main stage of the Jambridge Community Music and Arts Festival in Ambridge, 8 to 9PM.

Then on Sunday, The Low Kings and Bealtaine will be at the Crafthouse, 5024 Curry Road, for their Half-Way to Saint Patrick's Day Celebration. Doors open at 3 with the show starting at 5.

The Pittsburgh Renaissance Festival continues this weekend. You can find great Celtic music played there by Sarah the Harpist, The CRAIC Show, and Garry Siler.

A heads up for the first weekend of October at the renaissance festival, the the lineup of musicians/bands will be different, and only playing that weekend, including The Donegal Doggs, and Matt Hughes.

Don't forget the Pittsburgh Irish Festival is this weekend! Included are Mark Guiser, playing on Friday, 8 to 8:45PM, and Mike Flaherty, also on Friday, September 11, performing from 4:30pm - 5:15pm. On Saturday, September 12, he'll be performing from 11:45am - 12:30 pm and 4:45pm - 5:30pm.

Helloooo, Pittsburgh! We are really, really looking forward to this weekend's Pittsburgh Irish Festival, being held at Carrie Blast Furnaces. The fun starts on Friday, Sept 11th, and continues through Sunday the 13th.
