I am happy to announce our first planetarium show for the Fall 2026 season!
Join us on Saturday, September 19th at 2:00 PM for 5000 Eyes: Mapping the Universe with DESI! The Dark Energy Spectroscopic Instrument (DESI) is creating the most detailed map of our
nearby universe. Installed on the Mayall telescope on Kitt Peak in Southern Arizona, DESI's 5000 independently operated robots can measure the light from thousands of galaxies at once. Come explore the science, instrument, and people behind this global endeavor.
As usual our show will begin with a tour of the what will be in the night sky that day, followed by our feature presentation.
Registration is required, but is free!
Please only register if you are sure you can come. As long as seats are still available, registration will remain open until 30 minutes before show time!
Also, please fill out a form for each person in your party (including children) so we can have an accurate head count. You can even just enter the same name and email address multiple times, as long as you submit a form for each person who will attend.
