A local Pittsboro photographer has started up making wet plate photos using era-specific techniques. Naturally I had to arrange a sitting!

In my Star Wars cosplay I have a rig I call "Gentleman Vader," based around an OppoSuits Vader I was provided years ago by the company (and I still brag on them; it's a great piece). Stack a helmet on that and add some flair like a belt buckle and a lightsaber umbrella and I'm done.

Having enjoyed that so much, and not wanting to take the big bag to the theater, when we took my young apprentice to the theater for Nightmare Before Christmas' anniversary release, I went as "Gentleman Oogie.
