Rolags from today’s class at DFW Fiber Fest!

One student said the colorful one was her 1994 Lisa Frank dream and honestly, we can’t disagree. 😂

We are excited to be back in the Market at DFW Fiber Fest for the first time since 2019! You will find us in the 800 aisle (red star on the map below) just across from our friends at Stunning String Studio. We’ll be giving demonstrations and helping choose fleece all weekend long, so stop by to squish fleece, take a wheel or carder for a test drive, and to get your passport stamp for the {Among Friends} game.

We’re back in the swing of our show and workshop season!

So far this year, we’ve had the pleasure of visiting Great Basin Fiber Arts Fair in Utah, Maryland Sheep & Wool, Estes Park Wool Market in Colorado, and Black Sheep Gathering in Oregon. We’ve loved teaching, meeting new fiber friends, and spending time with this wonderful community along the way.

And now we’re in Dallas for DFW Fiber Fest! It’s going to be a busy few months ahead as we head to Wisconsin Sheep & Wool Festival, Lambtown Festival, New York Sheep & Wool Festival, and SAFF.

Some of our upcoming workshops are already sold out, but there are still seats available in others. If you’ve been thinking about joining us, now is a great time to check the schedule and reserve your spot!

August Fleece Release!

The August Fleece Release is now available. We posted a bevy of soft and crimpy Huacaya Alpaca this month, along with some fun crossbreeds (Finn x Tunis, anyone?) and a couple of really stunning fleece that ended up in Imperfect. This release also features several fleece in the four- to six-inch-long range, so if you are looking for something with a medium to soft hand and good length, there's plenty to choose from.

Every year we're amazed by the incredible community of shepherds, fleece producers, and fiber artists who gather in the Blue Ridge Mountains. SAFF has become one of our favorite shows, and we always look forward to returning to the warm hospitality and vibrant fiber community in Western North Carolina.
