The #1 reason why growth really doesn’t matter if you cannot retain the length you grew out!!

On average we grow 6 inches in a year. Someone who has straighter hair or relaxed curls will see the inches grown before a tight curly will see it due to shrinkage.

However if you stick with maintenance cuts (generally between 3/4 months when wanting to grow it out) you don’t have to cut so much! Most of my tight curl clients take about half and inch to 1 inch off each pending how often they come and what their end goal is!

I’m excited to share an opportunity that could make a big difference for the young person in your life with curly hair. We’ve created a class designed to empower youth to truly understand and love their curls. This class will take place on September 28,2024.

This class is all about helping your child feel confident in managing their curls by learning how to select the right products and simplify their routine. Whether they’re in high school, early college, or just starting out and wanting to manage their hair more independently, this session is designed to give them the skills and knowledge to succeed.

We’ve intentionally kept this class small—just 10 participants—so that each child gets the personal attention they deserve. In addition to expert guidance, your child will also receive a goodie bag filled with high-quality products and tools, valued at over $200, to help them start their hair care journey with confidence.

As a parent or guardian, you’ll be there to support them throughout, and together we’ll build an experience that’s not just educational but truly transformative for them.

With holidays around the corner, here are some tips to be event ready!

1. Figure out what day you like your curls best (I.e. day 2 or day 4) and schedule your appointment that many days before your event if you plan to wear a wash and set style to the event.
2. If you like day 4 hair, use the products that will give you that look on day 1! More often than not this is when I may use lighter weight holds and products that promote more volume!
3. For the love of all sanity, please don’t wait til the last minute to book for an important event. If needed and you are able to book a weekly or bi-weekly style maintenance appointment. As the old saying goes, if you stay ready you don’t have to get ready!

Schedule a style coaching session on how to turn your daily style into a fabulous look for an event. This way you have a few extra tricks up your sleeve to feel glamorous for any last minute soirée or major event that may come up.

Isn’t she lovely!🥰

This beautiful woman right here has so many talents. One of which is cooking!! I have been able to enjoy some really yummy food over the years from her and benefit from her always being willing to share her wisdom in life. So it was a privilege to be able to take care of her and shape up her curls for her!

Lots of times we think change is a scary word or means it has to be drastic. Simply put, that is far from true. Change begins with a small step. It’s a choice. How far, big, or wide you choose to leap is up to you, but it just takes a small step in the right direction.

When you plant a seed it doesn’t sprout up in seconds. Trust the process and keep people around you that are likeminded and want to see you succeed!
