WE ARE HIRING: GUEST SERVICES LEAD
White Mountain Family Fun Park is seeking a mature, dependable, and self-motivated team player to join our Welcome Desk. We are looking for an ambitious individual to master our front-end operations with the goal of moving into a leadership role this summer.
Compensation & Growth
Starting Pay: $18.00 / hour during the training and evaluation period.
Promotion Potential: Increase to $20.00 / hour upon official transition to the Supervisor role (targeted for August).
The Role: A "Working Supervisor" Path
We are looking for a leader who stays in the mix. Even after moving into management, this position remains hands-on and guest-focused.
Phase 1 (Training & Evaluation): You will be fully trained at the Welcome Desk (POS, sales, guest relations) and our Simple Snack & Refreshment Station.
Phase 2 (Leadership): For the candidate who proves to be a great fit, you will transition into Supervisor responsibilities (staff oversight, cash drawers, and computer systems). Your primary station will remain the front desk, leading the team by example.
Preferred Experience & Skills
Proven Reliability: 1–2 years of experience in a fast-paced, customer-facing role.
Tech & Cash Savvy: Previous experience operating POS systems and handling cash drawers with 100% accuracy.
Leadership Potential: Previous experience as a Shift Lead, Keyholder, or Trainer is preferred.
High Energy: Must be comfortable working in a busy, loud environment while staying friendly and professional.
Simple Snack & Refreshment Station
We don’t do "short-order cooking" or heavy kitchen work. Our food prep is clean and very easy to learn:
Automated Cooking: We use a self-contained "Perfect Fry" system. It’s safe and automated—no open grills or messy grease splatters.
Easy Menu: You’ll mainly be serving Pepsi products, Icees, Ice Cream, Dippin' Dots, and simple frozen snacks.
Straightforward: If you can pour a soda and press a button on a timer, you can handle this station!
Job Duties & Requirements
Guest Experience: Greeting/thanking customers, explaining and selling park packages, and handing out mini-golf equipment.
Operations: Handling the redemption desk and preparing refreshments.
The Essentials: Must be honest, sales-oriented, and a "common sense" problem solver who brings no drama to work.
Availability: Weekdays, weekends, and most holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day off). Up to 40 hours year-round.
Physical & Legal
Must be able to work in a loud environment (arcade noise).
This is not a sitting job; you must be able to stand for 4 hours at a time and handle bending, lifting, and twisting.
Mandatory drug test (including medical and recreational ma*****na) and background check.
