An artist in Pinellas Park started a neighborhood street art program, leading other artists and volunteers in creating junk art made out of metal and other scraps. He teaches people how to do it for free as long as they agree to give it away.

WHAT IS The Art Ride? Our family followed its dream of building our own theme park ride! Ride a "buggy" that follows an embedded rail through several tents with electronically-triggered sound and light effects, as well as motorized plywood set pieces and animatronics. The ride is redesigned with different scenes and effects for different seasons of the year. It's unlike anything you've ever seen!
Come experience our newest production: Living in a Dream World: The Art Ride, open Fri. and Sat. through March 7. Open 6-9pm. $5 admission.

Did you notice that we're changing our page name? 🎨 We're changing it from 'The Terror Tent' to 'The Art Ride' because every few months the ride gets redesigned with a new theme to experience.
Facebook won't allow major name changes on a business page, so we had to just add the words Art Ride this week, then we can remove the words Terror Tent next week. (Crazy Facebook! 😒) Don't worry: The Terror Tent will return next year.
Our Creepy Christmas ride will be open at the same location 11/22-23, 11/29-30, 12/6-7, 12/13-14. 🎄🎅 Fun for all ages! Mark your calendar!

Much as I'd like to say that The Terror Tent is the only motorized haunted ride in Florida, there is a real train in Williston, but the Terror Tent is still the only motorized haunt in Pinellas County. The best Halloween bang for your buck in the Tampa Bay area! And getting better all the time!
This Pinellas Pk family built their own motorized haunted ride attraction from spare parts! They converted big wheelchair into a "buggy" that follows an embedded rail through several tents in the parking lot. Arduinos trigger sound, light, and smoke effects, as well as motorized plywood set pieces and animatronics. Some effects are manually operated behind the scenes. For the 2019 Halloween season, The Terror Tent will have it's grand opening at the Sept. 27 Art Walk at Pinellas Arts Village on Park Blvd. and will be open Friday and Saturday nights leading up to the weekend before Halloween.
