Ethan Jones, lives in Cameron, NC. He is a graduate of Union Pines High School and is currently attending Sandhills Community College working toward becoming a commerical pilot. Over the years, Ethan placed top chairs numerous times with the NC All State Bands and Orchestras. Locally he has or is performing with the Moore Philharmonic Orchestra, the Fayettev
ille Symphony Youth Orchestra, the Lee County Orchestra, and the Moore Community Band. Denise Wallace, a native of Lakeland, Florida, received her B.M.E. degree from Florida State University. She taught instrumental music in the North Carolina public schools for 31 years. She achieved National Board Certification in 2004. Denise was principal horn with the Fayetteville Symphony Orchestra for 27 seasons. She was a featured soloist with the Lakeland Symphony Orchestra and was a featured soloist in a concerto for two horns with the Fayetteville Symphony Orchestra. She performs with the Moore County Concert Band and with area churches, theater, and community events. Bill Pearce, a native of Hamlet, North Carolina received his B.M.E. degree from East Carolina University in 1981. He was a student of the late James Parnell for 5 years. He taught instrumental music in the public schools of Cumberland County for 30 years. Bill has played with numerous ensembles in the area over the 35 years he has lived in Fayetteville, including the Moore County Concert Band. He and his wife Nancy are both retired instrumental music educators. Liz Hasty is originally from Chesapeake Virginia and is a graduate of East Carolina University. She is a retired music educator where she taught in North and South Carolina for 35 years and was a National Board Certified Teacher. Liz is currently employed as a Mentor Teacher for Scotland Schools. She resides in Wagram NC with her husband John and enjoys working in her church as well as playing tennis and golf.
