Miami Dance Collective provides dance classes for beginning through advanced dancers Ages 3-18. These classes are designed for the dancer who is including the art of dance in his or her life for enjoyment. The program consists of developmental classes that include progressive instruction in technique, repertoire, flexibility & strength conditioning and performance skills. Students are moved through the levels based on their development, technical ability, mental preparedness and dedication, & maturity. Miami Dance Collective's “The Company” is a ballet-based program designed to provide a strong technical foundation while building individual artistry. This program is designed to fulfill the needs of serious dance students who seek opportunities that will eventually permit them to make the transition from a pre-professional to a professional dance career or University dance program. Company members will perform annually in their own concert held during the spring season and will attend several convention/competition events. Dancers will also be given the opportunity to train and work with guest choreographers.

A little glimpse of REFLECT.
A sneak peek at our Season 11 Company photoshoot through the lens of Lexi Hunsaker. We love seeing each dancer’s individuality come into focus.

A huge thank you to our very own Valentina Carvallo, aka Tina, for creating our Apprentice mini/junior jazz small production this weekend!

Tina is an MDC alumna and was my muse for soooo many years, so watching her come back and create with the next generation is extra special. From inspiring my choreography to sharing her own voice with our kids… such a full-circle moment. 🖤

This piece is smart, quirky, and a whole lotta FUN!!! Tina, we love you and can’t wait to bring your vision to the stage!

Better late than never! 🤍 A little overdue thank you to Gabe Katz for a weekend of master classes, solos, and new choreography at MDC!
Thank you for sharing your creativity and challenging our dancers to move and think in new ways. We’re grateful for the time you spent with them and excited to watch them continue growing into your work.
The weekend may be over, but the work continues! Can’t wait to see it all come to life onstage.

Jordan and Aidan, thank you for year THREE at MDC!! We love having you both here and are so grateful our dancers get to learn from you.
Your brains work in ways I will never understand 😂 Part dance, part math, and somehow it all comes together! Thank you for challenging our kids, sharing your creativity, and giving them so much to grow from. These experiences stay with them long after the weekend is over.
You’re such a special part of our season. Thank you for another memorable year together. We can’t wait to see the piece come to life onstage! 🤍
