💖🌟GOOD MORNING dance family!!🌟💖
A few things as we are one day away from SHOWTIME!! 🤩🤩
🌟TOMORROW MORNING (Saturday 6/6) is DRESS REHEARSAL at 9:00 AM at the HIGH SCHOOL. This is the official dress rehearsal so please come in costume. For students in multiple classes bring all of your costumes as this is your “practice” run to see how much time you have in between numbers to change! This is important!
🌟THERE IS NO FOOD OR DRINK ALLOWED IN THE AUDITORIUM!! This is a SCHOOL rule!!! It is a PRIVILEGE for us to use the HS auditorium, not a right! The school puts rules in place, and we must (and wish to!!) ABIDE BY THEIR RULES. I know 9 am is early!! I know you will arrive with your coffees and morning snacks. PLEASE leave those out in the lobby, and do NOT bring them into the auditorium. If we see you with anything other than water, we will ask you to wait in the lobby. Please don’t make us do that. 🙏🏻😃
🌟The dress rehearsal is a CLOSED REHEARSAL. No one should be present at the dress rehearsal other than the students and their parent/guardian/adult responsible for them. Family, extended family and friends are not allowed to attend the dress rehearsal. That is what the show is for!! 🙏🏻😃
🌟RECITAL is 7 pm! We ask all dancers to be backstage in the music room by 6:30. Adults you may walk your dancers back to the room and then head back to the audience. ALL dancers will remain in the music room for the duration of the show. At NO TIME is ANY ONE permitted to be sitting in the audience during the show. Dress rehearsal is the opportunity for all students to watch and support each other. The show all dancers remain backstage as it moves quickly and we cannot “stop” the show if someone is not where they’re supposed to be. Please abide by this very important rule. 🙏🏻
🌟COMBO I, COMBO II/III and TAP 1 parents: Due to the ages of these classes, we will need two parent volunteers to sit in the music room with these classes during the show. YOU WILL NOT MISS YOUR CHILD’s number. We line them up in the hallway two numbers prior to theirs, and at that time you will be able to go around and enter the auditorium, watch your child’s performance, take pictures and video and when their number is finished you will come around to the hallway and take them back into the music room. We appreciate the help as the little ones need that extra supervision and support while sitting in the music room.
🌟TICKET SALES are at the door. (No link - we’re old school. 😎). Each dancer receives one complimentary ticket for a parent/guardian to use. Other than that tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for senior citizens and children 2-12. Under 2 are free. THE STISSING LOFT DOES NOT PROFIT from recital ticket sales. 🙏🏻😃 For 45 years we have donated back our proceeds to various causes within the school. Since the inception of the Stissing Theatre Guild our recital proceeds have gone to purchase lighting and sound equipment, props for the show and senior scholarship awards. This year’s recital proceeds will continue to benefit the theatre guild. We thank you for your continued support!!
We look forward to seeing you all!! You have worked hard all year and now is the time to put it all together and get on that stage and SHINE!! ✨ We are so proud of all our dancers!! We will see you tmro morning!
As always if any questions, please feel free to message me!! Have a great day!
