This one-of-a-kind raku pottery vessel was developed at my studio in Weaverville, NC. This bowl was handbuilt using a throw mold. There is something very personal and intimate creating pottery with my own glaze recipes. The array of colors that you see are dependent on the amount of oxygen allowed in the post-firing reduction. My unique glaze combinations and raku firing techniques make each ceramic piece completely different from another.
