👉 Local event happening 9/29!
Through Queermunity, we have received a Cultural Heritage Grant from the Minnesota Humanities Center.

Queermunity is using this grant money to help preserve our life experiences in Rural MN, our history, starting and continuing with our Pride in the Park and what we see coming down the road. They are calling it: “Honoring LGBTQ+ Minnesota: Past, Present, and Future.”

A Sharing Circle will be held at 5:00pm,on the 29th of September 29th at the Legacy Barn & Orchard. (9306 Maple Shores Drive, Pine City, MN.) A sharing circle is an Indigenous Peoples' way of sharing and preserving culture.There will be recordings of voice and video at this event.

We will have a facilitator from Queermunity. Plan on two-to-three hours.We are serving a pizza dinner with beverages. Each participant will get $15.00 for gas and a gift.

We would like to hear from a spectrum of peoples: Trans, Gay, Le***an and everything in between.

East Central Minnesota Pride is aware of concerns that have been raised publicly regarding an individual who previously served on our Board of Directors. That individual is no longer a member of our Board and has no role in the leadership or decision making of our organization.

We recognize the courage it takes for people to come forward and share their experiences. Those who do so deserve to be heard and treated with dignity, compassion, and respect.

We understand that members of our community may have questions and concerns. Our commitment remains unchanged: to foster a safe, welcoming, and inclusive community for all and to carry out our mission with integrity, accountability, and care.
