Posted • Call for entry with a broad interpretation about how we define space, whether the literal borders in art, or the arbitrary lines delineating physical spaces such as states and countries, or the symbolic boundaries that separate self from others. We are searching for art that explores how we define borders, stretching the confines and constrictions that often come with “staying in the lines”. ⁠

The entry fee is $35 for up to 3 pieces of work. All entries must be received by July 14, 2023. ⁠

Pritika’s expansive exploration of the effects of the partition in India will accompany Borders and Boundaries. Pritika Chowdhry is an artist, curator, and writer whose artworks are in public and private collections. In 2007, on the 60th anniversary of India’s Partition, Pritika Chowdhry created her first work in response to the Partition, titled Queering Mother India. Attention all artists!

We are pleased to announce an open call for a curated group exhibition in Philadelphia that will be held at the newly opened Paradigm Gallery Arts Building. If you are looking for an opportunity to showcase your talent, connect with other creatives and show your art in person at a high-traffic location in the city’s bustling art scene, this is the perfect chance.

Submissions are open for all mediums and styles with a size limit of 30 inches, and we encourage artists from all backgrounds to apply. Don't miss out on this chance to be a part of a dynamic and diverse art exhibition in the historic Old City nieghborhood of Philadelphia. In addition to being invited to show and attend an opening reception, the artists selected for the exhibition will also benefit from extensive marketing through all of Create! Magazine’s channels to our global audience of 250k+ readers and followers.

Theme: Chroma

We are seeking artists who explore color, vibrancy and intensity in their work. This theme is open to interpretation.

EXHIBITION

Tennessee Craft seeks entries for Tennessee Craft: A
Statewide Member Exhibition, to highlight and promote
the excellence and high standards of Tennessee Craft
member artists and to provide public visibility and
recognition for the quality and diversity of craft found
in Tennessee. The exhibition is open to original works
of craft created by artists 18 years of age or older, who
are current residents of Tennessee, including
students. All applicants must be 2023 members of
Tennessee Craft to be considered for jury.

Up to 75 pieces of artwork will be selected for this
craft exhibition, hosted by the
located in Clarksville, Tennessee. Dates for the public
exhibition are September 01 through October 26, 2023.
A reception will be held Thursday, September 14 from
5 to 7 pm CDT.

Applications are Due May 15, 2023.

LAST CALL for a chance to participate in the 2023 Battle of the Rings/Ring Smackdown!
Entry forms are due TONIGHT, Friday, March 24, by MIDNIGHT Pacific Time.

It’s an easy, electronic form. You’ll need a quick bio, a nice description for your ring –always good to include something about the process and/or significance, and some decent images. A video is awesome too!
Once you submit you should receive a confirmation email. If you do not, don’t freak out. Not everyone gets one and we don’t know why. We will double check that we have a form from everyone that pays the entry fee.
Remember, this does not have to be a new ring, just a very cool ring. Jurors Sharon Massey and James Thurman are very excited to see y

If you are selected to participate, thousands of people will see it and if everything goes your way, you maybe even be crowned CHAMPION of the International Battle of the Rings, 2023!
But you gotta’ enter to win! No matter what happens, it’s a ton of fun.

Call to artists and curators!!

Interested in having an exhibition at The Silver Fern's Fiddlehead Gallery? We are now accepting solo & group exhibition proposals for 2024, as well as curator proposals. The gallery is approximately 160” long x 97” wide with 112” high ceilings.

Please fill out the proposal form below and pay the application fee of $25 via PayPal to [email protected]. Exhibition Proposals will not be reviewed until we receive the application fee. If you have trouble with the application fee, please let us know in an email and we can send you an invoice of the application fee.

Important dates:

•Call for exhibition proposals will close August 10th 2023.

•Artists/Curators will be notified no later than September 10th 2023.
