Taylor Field has lost another friend and supporter, Billy Joe Hulse. BJ was a great supporter of baseball, youth sports and Taylor Field. He and Jim can sit on the bleachers in heaven and talk baseball, officiating, concessions and life.

If you want to bring America back together bring back baseball. Bring the game back to the inner-city, the countryside, towns, cornfields. This simple games played by kids and adults, rich and poor. It doesn't take a lot of money or fancy parks or fields; just a sandlot or a stick, a ball and a street. A game where after a heated contest the combatants come together over a soda or a beer. The game is still there waiting for someone to pick up a ball, a bat, a glove. The game of baseball is waiting... the country is waiting.

Hey everyone this is Chris McVay and I had the privilege of doing the Taylor Field 80th Anniversary Jim Hill tribute Live Stream. I want to personally Thank the Taylor and Hill families for giving me the opportunity to be apart of an amazing event. In addition to making the live video I am making a memorial video starting in 1940-2020, we are wanting to get has many pictures and videos we can to make this happen. Another beautiful day at Taylor Field in Pine bluff even after all the rain yesterday. A BIG thanks to Jim Hill, Charles Hankins and the Grounds Crew for working all morning to get the field ready for play today. Also....thanks to ADC for sending a crew of workers to help with the filed and cleaning the grandstands. LET'S PLAY BALL!!!!
