Thresa Hill has passed away. You can bet Jim met her at the pearly gates in a golf cart and they will be cruising the baseball fields of heaven for eternity.

Willie Mays has passed. One of the greats of baseball played in an MLB exhibition game at Taylor Field in the early 1950s.

Taylor Field lost one of its Super Heroes this week. He would pray, rake, work the concession, announce, keep score or sing the National Anthem and never told daddy No, whatever he asked.

Bro Roger Stewart went to be with the Lord Saturday morning while ministering in El Salvador. Bro Roger and Daddy were great buddies. They shared a love of baseball, faith and family. In no particular order. LoL. He was a great pastor and friend to my family and we are truly heartbroken. I’m sure he and Daddy are in heaven talking about Pujols, Judge and the fate of the Hogs.

Please pray for his wife Gena, sons Brett & Hayden and their families.
