Our Fighting Pirate Marching band showed resilience at the Oct 9 Pinckney vs Chelsea "Pink Out" game. Gold stars to drum major Camille Kliczinski, who provided strong leadership and perfectly timed the "Star Spangled Banner" to line up with a special jet fly over. A big thank you to photographer Mark Brown, these photos capture the youth, fun, and energy of our wonderful student musicians and twirlers! As always, Go Pirate Music!!!🎵🖤❤️🖤❤️

Memories were made last Friday at the 2026 Pinckney Homecoming extravaganza! Our musicians and twirlers showed up in full force, demonstrating to our community what it means to be part of the Pirate Music Family. An army of parent and Music Booster volunteers helped to make everything happen, it was a big day filled with hometown pride and cheer. A pep rally, parade, shared meal, and game performance kept the students busy, led by director Mr. Kevin Welling. A special shout out to Angela Miller, her foresight and fast thinking saved the day and fed hungry musicians! The PCHS Orchestra performed perched on hay bales, playing fan favorites including "Dragon Hunter". As always, the marching band kicked up the excitement, their loud and lively beat kept the parade moving and the crowd's energy high.

After a rainy week the weather cooperated, proving a gorgeous night for the game. The band's very own Anabelle Tayon (Junior), Sarah Repair (Senior) and Katelyn Sanchez (Senior) were selected to represent the PCHS "Pirate Crew", their version of a Homecoming Court.

Alumni Colin Ozias, Bella Wittrup and Jaden Zeilinger returned to join in the fun, it is always a joy welcoming back our former band members!

Music selected for the evening's game performance fell under the theme "Latin Pop". Our award winning twirlers sizzled (literally) with their daring batons of fire!!! All in all a fantastic night. Thank you to all who lent a helping hand... we have so much to be proud of with this incredible group of young people. Lastly, the majority of the photos in this post were taken and shared by the amazing Michael Morgan Photography, we appreciate his artistry and generosity. Go Pirate Music!!!❤️🖤🎶🎻🎷🎸🥁
