Varsity Day Camp has been family owned and operated since 1950. The camp is located in Pinckney in Hamburg Twp., Livingston County. Camp Activities are conducted on a 40 acre site located 1/2 mile south of M-36 on Cordley Lake Road on the west shore of Cordley Lake. Varsity Day Camp is licensed by the State of Michigan and the Livingston County Health Department. Every effort is made to assure the

health and safety of campers. The program is highly organized, supervised and child oriented. Activities include: Archery, Arts & Crafts, Baseball, Soccer, Lacrosse, Basketball, Box Hockey, Tetherball, Canoeing, Rowing, Sailing, Paddle boating, Nature Lore, Red Cross Swimming Instruction, Recreational Swim, Fishing, Special Activities and Games. The BEST part is your child gets to choose what they want to do and when !! Varsity Day Camp is for children 6 to 13
The camp day includes two morning activity periods, a full nutritious lunch is served, and two afternoon activity periods. Our carefully selected staff is comprised of former campers, college students, teachers, and professionals who are trained to be outstanding camp role models. Tuition Rate: $40.00 per camper, per day
The tuition fee includes lunch, insurance, arts & crafts supplies, all activities and instruction. Campers may register for any combination of days. CAMP HOURS OF OPERATION: Camp hours are Monday through Friday from 8:45 a.m. to 4:20 p.m Extended AM care begins at 7:00am and Extended PM care ends at 6:00pm.

Varsity Day camp will unfortunately be closed for the upcoming 2023 season.

We are hopeful for 2024.

At this time, the family is deciding whether to operate camp this summer.

2021 Camp Season

Varsity Day Camp continues to be Paused!

Due to COVID-19 and the new guidelines and regulations for operating camps put forth by the CDC, LARA and the State of Michigan, we have again made the very difficult decision not to operate for the 2021 season.

The logistics of operating within these guidelines included modifying our program and our philosophy of having our campers choose their activities.

The safety, protection and well-being of our campers, staff and family has always been of the utmost importance to us.

It is what guides our every decision about Camp.

Going forward our hope is that 2022 enables health, well being and the return of Varsity.

Varsity Day Camp has been PAUSED!

Due to the effects of the global COVID-19 pandemic, we have made the difficult decision not to open Camp for our 2020 Season.

The safety, protection and well being of your children and our staff has always been of the utmost importance to us. It drives our every decision.

Going toward Varsity’s reopening in June of 2021, we will begin sending informative emails in early January.
