We added showcases this year where we allowed other organizations or groups to bring guest artists, display their talent and speak about what they do for THEIR community. The first invite was Starbright Music and Performing Arts. They not only teach multiple aspects of music and theater but also stress the importance of creating. Here is instructor Eric Trent on Piano and Kailey Eberling helping their student sing her song she wrote!

Hey friends, y’all may not have known this, but our longtime friend and MC of the Jay’s Songwriter Revival this year Mr John Rodgers, is having back surgery today. Not only did he still come out for countless hours during Jays Songwriter Revival, But he also did so with a smile. All the while he was struggling with debilitating back pain. Thank you John for your continued support of Jay’s vision. And we send you the best vibes through your recovery.

We couldn’t have asked for a better set of eyes and ears this weekend at Jay’s Songwriter Revival. Hey if you see Cpl Preston Green and Officer Amber Vance of Pilot Point Police Department around, give them a big smile for us. These two were so courteous and cordial with all the artist and community. I really feel like they set a higher standard. Happy Trails my new friends!
