My Santa-Mental Memories

Hello! The last few years I’ve posted birthday fundraisers for different organizations. And the response has always been most generous, and for that I thank you.

This year I want to help a particular family.

You may have seen on the news and on my shared posts about my friend Elliott. He's an 11-year-old who was born with a rare heart condition. Basically, Elliott was born with half a heart. Over the years he's undergone surgeries and other complicated procedures to keep him healthy. This treatment has been quite expensive for the Wyche Family, and insurance does not come close to covering it all.

So, my chosen birthday fundraiser this year is "Tin Man Tough." If you can, donate what you can to the Zelle account listed in the comments below. If for some reason you have trouble getting your donation to go through, contact me and we'll figure out a way. I'm kicking it off with a $100 "starter."

Half the heart, twice the fight.

Hello! For my birthday fundraiser this year, I'd like to do something a bit different.

I've watched Elliott grow up the last few years at library events. You've never met a more outgoing, helpful, generous young man. Eliott himself has spearheaded toy drives for other children. Now let's see what we can do to help Elliott and his family as they navigate this life-long medical journey.

We are saddened to hear of the passing of Jerry Ayers, past Chapter Director of Texas Thespians (1996-1999). His leadership and passion for theatre education impacted countless students and educators across Texas. His dedication, encouragement, and love for the arts will always be remembered. Our thoughts are with his family and the entire Texas Thespian community.
