The Pike County Extension Fine Arts program, or Pike Arts, creates art and culture opportunities for all Pike County residents. Pike County is the largest county in Kentucky, and the geographical challenges are substantial-- you can drive two hours in any direction and still be within Pike County boundaries! To allow ALL citizens access to arts programming, Pike County Extension Fine Arts has dedi

cated itself to the development of arts venues and programming in each of the five major communities of Pike County: Belfry, Pikeville, Elkhorn City, Phelps, and Shelby Valley. Pike Arts also targets and utilizes the subcultures of our educational systems, churches, and communities to expand into the far reaches of our county.

The wait is almost over....The Pikeville Farmer's Market will be opening on Saturday, May 2nd, 2026! Come out and help us kick off the 2026 market season! Pike County Extension Community Arts and Agriculture & Natural Resources will be hosting a FREE "paint and plant" while supplies lasts. Come decorate your own pot and plant a seed!

Calling all quilt and crochet artists! We are still accepting quilt and crochet submissions for our Hillbilly Days quilt show! The submission deadline has been extended to April 10th.
