🎭 Happy Heavenly Birthday, Hal W. McIntosh! 🎭

Today, we celebrate the birthday of Hal W. McIntosh and remember the incredible impact he made on the Alabama theatre community. Hal believed deeply in the power of theatre, education, and investing in the next generation of artists—and we are so grateful to continue honoring his legacy through the Hal W. McIntosh Theatre Scholarship.

Since establishing the scholarship, we have had the privilege of awarding three outstanding high school seniors with this prestigious honor. We are especially proud that all three recipients are now studying theatre at the collegiate level, continuing to learn, create, perform, and pursue the art form Hal loved so much. ❤️

What a beautiful legacy.

In honor of Hal’s birthday today, we invite you to consider making a contribution to the Hal W. McIntosh Theatre Scholarship Fund. Step into the delightfully twisted world of Skid Row, where a down-on-his-luck florist discovers a mysterious plant with an insatiable appetite. Packed with unforgettable music, outrageous comedy, and larger-than-life characters, this cult-classic musical is one you won't want to miss!

You only need to attend one audition date. Callbacks will be held later if needed.

Follow Seymour Krelborn, a shy floral assistant who discovers an unusual plant that promises fame and fortune—but at a terrifying cost. Featuring beloved songs like "Suddenly, Seymour," "Somewhere That's Green," "Skid Row," and "Feed Me," this exciting musical blends humor, horror, romance, and rock 'n' roll into an unforgettable theatrical experience.

🎤 Who We're Casting:
We are seeking a talented cast of older teens and adults for principal and ensemble roles. Performers of all experience levels are encouraged to audition!

🎬 What to Prepare:
• Vocal: Prepare approximately 32 bars of a song that best showcases your voice (please bring accompaniment on your phone or device).
• Dance: Be prepared to learn a short choreography combination.
• Acting: Cold readings from the script.
