At PRTC, we believe that theatre is about more than putting on great productions—it’s about educating, mentoring, and empowering the next generation of artists and leaders.

As a rising ninth grader at Pike Road High School, Griffin has already proven himself to be a talented and dedicated artist within our theatre community. His passion, work ethic, and leadership have made a tremendous impression, and we are excited to watch him take on this important role behind the scenes.

Investing in young people and helping them grow as artists is at the heart of our mission. Griffin represents exactly what Pike Road Theatre Company strives to cultivate—confidence, creativity, responsibility, and leadership through the arts.

Congratulations to Kiley Tatum, the recipient of the 2026 Hal W. McIntosh Theatre Scholarship Award from Pike Road Theatre Company!

Kiley is currently a senior at Booker T. Washington Magnet High School and has already built an impressive list of theatrical accomplishments. Some of her previous roles include Persephone in Hadestown: Teen Edition, Older Kid in Matilda at PRTC, Ermengarde in A Little Princess at Cloverdale Playhouse, Lance in Two Gentlemen of Verona through a collaboration between Montgomery Public Schools and Alabama Shakespeare Festival, and Red Ruth in Treasure Island at Cloverdale Playhouse.

This fall, Kiley will attend University of Montevallo where she plans to major in Musical Theatre.

Kiley, congratulations on all of your accomplishments and this well-deserved honor. We cannot wait to see all the incredible things your future holds!
