Gospel Music with Barry I've been a member of gospel groups for 33 years. New Year's Eve 2019 I retired the Calvarymen Quartet - the group I had been with for 26 years.

Now I am on my own and ready to lift of the name of Jesus at your church or event!

I had a BLESSED time at the Lloyd Severance Thumb Gospel Music Convention this past weekend! I'm so grateful for the opportunity that committee and the Severances allow me to be a part of the weekend. So much great God honoring music...SO MUCH great fellowship with group members and, SO MANY fabulous supporters and Gospel music fans!! I so enjoy the many 100s of folks that stop by my table to chat and all who have come t@o my bible studies on Thursday and Friday. I will say I'm glad I have today off to catch my breath!😀

I'm not good at taking pics so I've stolen a few from other FB friends! It was GREAT to have the two original brothers that formed the Calvarymen, Jim and Chuck Glasco there this weekend! I've had an amazing life and ministry thanks in part to them!

Good afternoon all! Thought I'd give y'all a heads up about some places I'm singing this week.

Tonight I am singing on the "open mic" night at "The Cheeseburger Festival" hosted and located by the Caseville Methodist Church...I believe that starts at 6pm. Then I'll be there again at the same stage Wednesday night and do a couple 30 minute sets of music starting at 6:30pm.

Thursday the 20th I'll be at The Lloyd Severance Thumb Gospel Music Convention at Bayshore Camp in Sebewaing. I'll have a devotional at 2pm in the Youth Center.

Friday the 21st at 10am I have another devotional in the youth center. Friday night I'll be in the choir for the evening concert and do a special number with Jim, Chuck, and Jeff Glasco!

It's going to be a great week! I hope to see y'all at one (or ALL) of these events!

Top Of The Thumb Leisure Ministries has another concert Sunday night the 5th - 7pm...it's Me! After all the festivities of the holiday weekend why don't you come spend an hour with me in the air conditioning praising the Lord!! There is a fellowship time with snacks after the service. Good morning all! Tonight kicks off the Vesper services for Top of the Thumb Leisure Ministries! On the program tonight the talented Melvin Kuhl will be playing his accordion for half the service and the amazing Debra Elenbaum (and special guest) will be rounding out the evening! As always, there will be a time for fellowship after with coffee, punch and cookies! Service startes at 7pm at Pigeon River Mennonite Church!

Come join us for a "Community Singsperation Concert" - 7pm - Ellington Nazarene Church - 2545 Lazelle Rd ("The big white Church on the Hill"..."Halfway Between Caro and Cass City")

We will do some singing together, I'll be singing and sharing a brief "New Year's devotion", and Ray and Donna Fibranz will be singing a couple of songs as well. NOT A LONG NIGHT...just a great time with friends and family...LIKE Y'ALL!!

The Crestmen - the first southern gospel quartet I was a member of...formative years for sure! I sang tenor, Chris Williams sang lead, his brother Tim Williams sang baritone, the owner and bass singer Charlie Propst and not pictured Jim (Jim N Sandy Miller) was our piano player.

Chris passed away Sunday morning. He was several years younger than me! Just a few weeks ago while I was visiting Virginia, Chris and I sat across from one another and promised to stay in touch better! Folks, life here on earth is not "promised". What do we really want to accomplish here? Who are you spending my time with? Is there someone you should talk to before you can't? Does everyone around you know about God's amazing grace...do you? THESE ARE QUESTIONS TO ANSWER TODAY...RIGHT NOW!
