Heads up, Smokies visitors! ⚠️

Azul has announced that it is temporarily closed due to technical issues.

The restaurant says they hope to be back open as soon as possible and appreciates everyone’s understanding while the issue is being resolved.

If you were planning to visit soon, you may want to check for updates before heading out.

We need your help! Our meal program has experienced a significant increase in operating costs this year and unfortunately, we have currently had to suspend the distribution of the snack bags that we included with each delivery. Although these snack bags are not imperative, they are a good supplemental meal for the homebound seniors. If you or a business is interested in helping support our senior community, please reach out to Ashley at
865-453-8080 or you can simply drop off donations at 1220 West Main Street. We are requesting individual snacks: oatmeal, cereal, granola bars, breakfast bars, grits, peanut butter crackers, soup cups etc. (we can also accept monetary donations for the purchase of snacks)

🚨 STARTING JULY 1… THIS COULD COST YOU $250 😳🐻

Feeding a bear in parts of Tennessee could soon come with a $250 fine… or more.

A new law goes into effect July 1, 2026 making it a misdemeanor to feed black bears in posted areas — including many places around the Smokies.

And yes… that includes:
👉 Tossing food out for a “photo moment”
👉 Leaving trash out where bears can get it
👉 Trying to get closer for that once-in-a-lifetime video

📍 In places like Great Smoky Mountains National Park, it’s already illegal — and penalties can be MUCH higher.

⚠️ Here’s the reality most people don’t realize:

A fed bear = a dead bear.

Once bears associate humans with food, they become aggressive… and are often euthanized for safety.

🎃 NEW at Dollywood for 2026… Harvey’s Boo Bash is coming to the Smokies! 👻✨

For the FIRST time ever, Dollywood is launching a separately ticketed after-hours Halloween event called Harvey’s Boo Bash — and it sounds like a perfect mix of fall magic, pumpkins, candy, rides, and family-friendly fun! 🍬🎃🌙

Here’s what we know so far:
🗓️ Select Nights: October 16, 23 & 30, 2026
🕘 Event Time: 9 PM – Midnight
🎟️ Separate Ticket Required
🎃 Hosted by Dollywood’s lovable pumpkin character, Harvey

Guests can expect:
✨ Great Pumpkin LumiNights after dark
🍭 Candy collection stations throughout the park
🎢 Access to select Dollywood rides at night
🍂 Exclusive entertainment
🍎 Special event-only food & merchandise
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 A family-friendly Halloween atmosphere (NOT a scary haunt event)

Dollywood says the event will be “immersive” and limited capacity, which likely means shorter lines and a more relaxed fall experience inside one of the most beautiful theme parks in America. 🍁✨
