🦋📚 OUR GIFT TO DOLLY: HELP US CONTINUE HER DREAM ❤️

Over the past few days, we’ve spent a lot of time remembering Dolly, sharing her stories, celebrating what she meant to East Tennessee, and talking about the incredible legacy she leaves behind.

But I kept coming back to one thought…

What if our Adam’s Adventures community could do something together to help continue that legacy?

Today, I’m incredibly excited to launch a fundraiser benefiting Dolly Parton's Imagination Library 📚🦋

Dolly started the Imagination Library in 1995 with a simple dream: to inspire children to love books and reading. What started right here in East Tennessee grew into something that has reached children around the world.

❤️ Our community goal is $3,100.

Why $3,100?

This year marks 31 years since Dolly started the Imagination Library, so our goal represents $100 for every year of this incredible program.

31 years. $3,100. One community coming together for Dolly. 🦋

I will be running this fundraiser through September 25th in honor of Dolly's hit song 9 to 5

If you're able to give, THANK YOU. ❤️ Whether it's $5, $7.50, $31 or any amount you choose, it all matters.

If donating isn't possible, that's completely okay! Sharing this fundraiser and helping us spread the word is another incredible way to be part of it.

Most importantly, I want everyone to know that Adam’s Adventures never receives or handles the money donated through this fundraiser. Donations are made directly to The Dollywood Foundation, the nonprofit organization behind Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library.

🎶🦋 DOLLY LEFT US ONE FINAL SONG… BUT WE WON’T HEAR IT UNTIL 2046

There is still one Dolly Parton song that no fan has ever heard, and Dolly made sure it would stay that way until what would have been her 100th birthday. ❤️

According to ABC News, Dolly wrote and recorded a song titled “My Place in History” in 2015, the same year Dollywood’s DreamMore Resort opened. The recording was placed inside a chestnut box at the resort, with Dolly’s instructions that it remain sealed until January 19, 2046.

That date would have been Dolly’s 100th birthday.

And in true Dolly fashion, she thought ahead. ❤️

💿 The song is stored on a CD.

📻 Dolly even placed a CD player inside the box so whoever opens it in 2046 will hopefully still have something capable of playing the recording.

When Dolly wrote about the time capsule in 2020, she even entertained the possibility that she might live long enough to be there when it was opened.

Sadly, we now know that won’t happen.

But 20 years from now, on January 19, 2046, another piece of Dolly’s story is waiting to be discovered.

A voice we all recognize.

A song we’ve never heard.

And one final musical gift Dolly intentionally left behind for the future. 🦋🎶

I can only imagine what that moment will feel like when the box is finally opened at DreamMore and “My Place in History” is heard for the very first time.

🎃👻 HARVEY’S BOO BASH JUST GOT EVEN BETTER AND THERE ARE TWO BIG UPDATES!

Dollywood’s first-ever separately ticketed, limited-capacity after-hours fall event is coming this October, and Dollywood has recently updated some of the details for Harvey’s Boo Bash!

First, the dates:

🎃 Friday, October 16
🎃 Friday, October 23
🎃 Friday, October 30

The exclusive portion of Boo Bash still runs from 9 PM until MIDNIGHT, after the regular Harvest Festival day concludes. But here’s the first BIG change…

⏰ YOU CAN NOW ENTER DOLLYWOOD AT 4 PM!

Originally, Boo Bash ticket holders were scheduled to enter beginning at 6 PM. Dollywood’s official event page now says your Boo Bash ticket gets you into the park beginning at 4 PM, giving you five hours to enjoy the regular Harvest Festival and Great Pumpkin LumiNights before the exclusive after-hours event even begins!

And there’s another NEW incentive… 👀🍿

🎃 FREE LIMITED-TIME BOO BASH POPCORN BUCKET!

For a limited time, Dollywood says guests who purchase any Harvey’s Boo Bash event ticket will receive a FREE Boo Bash popcorn bucket! These are available while supplies last, so this could be a pretty fun collectible from Dollywood’s inaugural Boo Bash.

🎶🦋 THE WORLD IS LISTENING TO DOLLY: She Just Reached #1 on Spotify for the FIRST Time

In the days following Dolly Parton’s passing, millions of people are turning to the music that made her one of the most beloved entertainers of all time—and the numbers are incredible. ❤️

According to Forbes, Dolly became the #1 most-streamed artist in the United States on Spotify on Wednesday, marking the first time in her legendary career that she has topped the U.S. Spotify artist chart.

And look at the songs occupying the top of the U.S. chart:

🎶 #1 — “Jolene”
⏰ #2 — “9 to 5”
🏝️ #3 — “Islands in the Stream”

Dolly had an incredible 15 songs inside Spotify’s U.S. Top 200, with both “I Will Always Love You” and “Coat of Many Colors” also reaching the Top 10.

🌎 And this isn’t just happening in America.

Dolly became the #2 most-streamed artist in the WORLD on Spotify, behind only Bad Bunny. Globally, “Jolene” reached #1, “9 to 5” reached #2 and “Islands in the Stream” reached #4.

The increase in people listening to Dolly has been staggering. U.S. Spotify streams of her music reportedly jumped 2,320% on the day of her passing compared with her average during the previous week.

She’s dominating other platforms as well. Forbes reports “Jolene” reached #1 on U.S. Apple Music, while Dolly songs occupied the entire Top 10 on U.S. iTunes, led by her original recording of “I Will Always Love You.”

There’s something pretty powerful about this.

At a time when people around the world are trying to find a way to remember Dolly, they’re doing it through the music she gave us. 🦋❤️

And somewhere, I have a feeling Dolly would be pretty proud to know that generations of people are singing along together.
