💔 Our Hearts Are Heavy Today 💔
All of us at Sandman’s Workshop are deeply saddened by the passing of Dolly Parton.
Dolly was so much more than a country music legend. She was a daughter of the Smoky Mountains, a source of pride for East Tennessee, and a shining example of kindness, generosity, faith, humor, and love for others. She never forgot where she came from, and because of that, the people of these mountains never stopped feeling like she was one of our own.
We are incredibly grateful for everything Dolly gave to our community and for the joy she brought to generations of people around the world. Her legacy will live on in her music, her generosity, these mountains she loved so dearly, and the countless lives she touched.
From all of us at Sandman’s Workshop, our thoughts and prayers are with Dolly’s family, friends, and everyone mourning this tremendous loss.
Thank you, Dolly, for making the Smoky Mountains — and the whole world — a little brighter. 🦋

The Sandman wanted to go check on Pigeon Forge’s favorite gal after hearing she was feeling “under the weather” with kidney stones. Apparently she isn’t interested in having her name carved on any of her kidney stones. Sandman is disappointed but the offer still stands if she changes her mind.
