I have been teaching for more than ten years.

I have taught various grade levels and subjects in schools in Maryland, Virginia, and Michigan. I have taught at an art studio in Virginia, and I am in my fifth year of teaching elementary art in Michigan. I have taught private art classes, and art activities at public events. I have been a printmaker since about 1996 (that's right, I was a teenager when I carved my fir

st piece of linoleum and pulled prints from it). Printmaking is my favorite way to make art, and I love exploring with dry-point printing, screen printing, but mostly relief printing. I also love to travel and make travel art kits. I almost always have some kind of art-making supplies with me! I love working in my travel watercolor sketch book, and I am currently updating it with sketches and paintings from my recent trip to Mexico City. I am hoping to work as an artist in residence in the summer, and look forward to upcoming international print exchanges.

I’ll be running a block printing activity at the Fallasburg Art Festival this weekend! I’ve been there the past couple years on Sunday, but this weekend I’ll be there both days! I’ll be set up in the children’s section, but grownups can come create too!
