ππ» 8 DAYS UNTIL MY 63RD BIRTHDAY! π
October 23, 2026
π₯ Tonight's Scary Story: THE LAST PHOTOGRAPH πΈ
Back in 1963, a traveling photographer rolled into a little town with an old-fashioned camera and a strange offer.
For just one dollar, he'd take your picture and show you what you would look like in ten years.
Most folks thought it was a clever trick.
Until the pictures started coming true.
One woman saw herself holding a baby she'd never had. Three years later, she gave birth to a little girl.
A young man saw himself wearing a sheriff's badge. Seven years later, he became the town sheriff.
Then one Halloween night, a young woman stopped by his wagon.
She was celebrating her birthday.
"Can you show me what I'll look like when I'm old?" she asked.
The photographer studied her for a long moment.
"Are you certain you want to see?"
She laughed. "Of course! I plan on living forever!"
He pulled the black cloth over his head and snapped the picture.
When he handed it to her, she stopped laughing.
The photograph showed an elderly woman sitting in a rocking chair.
Behind her stood dozens of shadowy figures.
Every single one had its hands resting on her shoulders.
"What are those people doing behind me?" she whispered.
The photographer went deathly pale.
"Those aren't people," he said.
"Then what are they?"
He leaned closer and whispered,
"They're the things waiting for you to die."
The young woman laughed nervously.
"Well, they'll be waiting a long time!"
Then she noticed something.
The elderly woman in the photograph was no longer sitting in the rocking chair.
She was standing.
And she was getting closer.
The young woman dropped the picture and screamed.
The photographer snatched it from the ground, took one look, and ran.
She looked down at her hands.
They were wrinkled.
Her hair began falling out.
Her teeth loosened.
And somewhere behind her, a rocking chair began to creak.
She turned around.
There stood the elderly woman from the photograph.
Only now, her mouth was stretched into an impossible grin.
The old woman reached out, grabbed her by the throat, and whispered:
"You said you wanted to see yourself when you were old."
Her fingers tightened.
"You never said you wanted to live that long."
The next morning, the photographer's wagon was found abandoned.
Inside were hundreds of photographs, all showing different people sitting in the same old rocking chair.
Every person had their eyes sewn shut.
And behind every chair stood the same smiling old woman.
But one photograph was different.
It showed an empty rocking chair.
On the back, someone had scratched three words:
"SHE FOUND YOU."
The sheriff burned every photograph that night.
Or so he thought.
Because every Halloween since 1963, one photograph has appeared beneath a stranger's front door.
Nobody knows who delivers it.
Nobody ever sees anyone leave.
And everyone who receives one disappears before sunrise.
But the strangest part?
The photographs don't show the future anymore.
They show the room you're sitting in when you open them.
The same furniture.
The same shadows.
The same doorway behind you.
And in that doorway stands an old woman with her head tilted sideways and a smile stretched far too wide.
They say if you look closely, you'll notice something else.
Her feet never touch the floor.
And if you turn around to see whether she's really there, you'll find nothing.
At first.
Then you'll hear the slow creaking of a rocking chair.
Coming from the room you just left.
Followed by the soft scrape of fingernails against the wall.
Getting closer.
And closer.
Until an old woman's voice whispers directly into your ear:
"Don't turn around again, sweetheart."
"I only have a face when you're looking at me."
π»π₯ NOW IT'S YOUR TURN!
If someone handed you a photograph that showed your future, would you dare look? Or would you burn it without taking a peek?
And be honest... how many of you just looked over your shoulder? π
π Only 8 more days until this Halloween baby turns 63! Born on Halloween in 1963, and still collecting spooky stories 63 years later!
Sleep tight, my friends... and if you hear a rocking chair creaking tonight, just remember...
Some things are better left unseen. π»
