🚨 IMPORTANT SADIE BASS SHOW UPDATE 🚨

We’re very sorry to announce that Sadie has had to cancel tonight’s show due to illness. She sends her sincere apologies and is very disappointed that she won’t be able to perform tonight.

All ticket purchases will be refunded promptly.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate everyone’s understanding. Most importantly, we’re wishing Sadie a speedy recovery and hope she’s feeling much better very soon. ❤️ With that being said we would like for everyone to come out to Shell's Downtown to listen to Draztic Chanj. They will hit the stage about 8:00.

We are extremely excited to announce our 2026 Fall Concert Lineup. Starting August 29th we will have Sadie Bass Music bringing her Acoustic Duo show to our stage, then on September 12th we got the high energy band Double Barrel coming to town, then to close the year out with a bang, with 18 charted hit songs and over 5 million records sold we have Confederate Railroad coming to Piedmont, Al. We had an awesome day here at The Place Downtown, in Piedmont, Al. This past Saturday Chainbuster Racing brought the 3rd annual Shake -n- Brake gravel race to town. We had just under 130 racers this year, they left from The Place at 9:00am and started showing back up around lunch. With the brutal heat and extremely challenging course it is to say the least impressive to watch these athletes do what they do. Then around lunchtime Shell's Downtown catered the famous Taco Bar as the award ceremony got underway. Everyone hung out, eat some delicious food and had a few cold drinks (and about 11 gallons of ice water!). This is exactly the kind of events that we had in mind when building this venue. Thank you to everyone that came, we hope to see everyone again next year. , , ,
