The Indian Dead Leaf often perched on tree branches with wings closed when resting. There, it perfectly resembles a dead leaf right down to the central vein. But when in flight it appears to be a dead giveaway!😄😳

Here is one addi picture of the “Four Flamed butterflies “recently posted lamp to show its height (approximately 41”) and overall appearance. It is now packaged to ship to Arizona- a costly endeavor!

Latest butterfly lamp. This lamp stands just over three feet tall. It is approximately nine inches wide at the base and tapers to four inches at the top. The butterflies are painted with acrylics and have glow in the dark highlights added to them along with a urethane clear coat to protect them and enhance the pearlescent colors. The ascending pyramid position of each allows the fluorescent colors to be charged by the dual bulbs of the lamp.

My apologies to my followers for the delay between posts. My schedule, working twelve hour nights and involvement in the automotive restoration world by day,
leaves little spare time!
The latest “Firefly” lamp is almost complete. The fluorescent paint adds an interesting touch.

Seems everyone loves them and I understand. They are majestic creatures ( no pun intended!)

This butterfly was posted a while back, but I thought you all might like to see how a father surprised his daughter with it at her birthday party. He ordered a hair pin butterfly along with the one in the dome. It adorns his daughter’s hair and compliments her beautiful purple gown!

Here’s a piece created for a customer who loves pink and wanted something apart from the ordinary butterfly. The pictures show it with LED lighting, ambient lighting, and fluorescent highlights in the dark.
